As with the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the Faculty of Pharmacy, the academic research programmes too promote multidisciplinary research and independent thinking.

The Doctor of Philosophy in Pharmacy is a three-year full-time programme and a four-year part-time programme. It is designed to inculcate a spirit of curiosity and enquiry in students, and is focussed on cutting-edge research. Students can leverage the Faculty’s partnerships with national and international universities and industries to access exciting learning opportunities abroad. They are also encouraged to attend and participate in global conferences, workshops, and seminars.

Under the guidance of experienced PhD guides, students explore the thrust areas of: Pharmaceutics, Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmacy Practice, Herbal Drug Technology.
