Visiting Professorship


As part of its Visiting Professorship program, the University opens its doors to educators and scholars from around the world, inviting them to share their knowledge with students and faculty members at RUAS. 

The program is yet another avenue through which the University ensures exposure to global perspectives and practices. For visiting professors, the program offers the opportunity to immerse themselves in a new culture and a new institution. The mutually beneficial relationship allows for the free flow of ideas, expertise, and best practices among all. 

Responsibilities

Visiting professors are expected to conduct short term courses, participate in undergraduate research, and interact with students as well as faculty members

Requirements

Experienced professors and subject matter experts from internationally recognised institutions are welcome. Preference is given to members of NAE and other prestigious professional fellowships of international standing.

Professors from the following areas of expertise are invited:

  • Probability, Statistics, and Stochastic Processes

  • Chemistry

  • Dental Sciences

  • Pharmacy

  • Life and Allied Health Sciences

  • Management, Commerce, and Finance

  • Hospitality Management

  • Art and Design

  • Performing Art and Film Making

  • Social Sciences

  • Law

Additionally, individuals with expertise in contemporary topics and future trends are also encouraged to apply.

Tenure

The desired tenure for visiting professors is one to three weeks.

Remuneration

The remuneration offered by the University is globally competitive and includes airfare, local accommodation, expenses, and an honorarium.
