Mechanisms,Kinematics and Dynamics


The work carried out by the Mechanisms, Kinematics and Dynamics research group deals with kinematic motion generation, kinematic chains, coordinate frames and transformations, velocity and accelerations analysis, and 2D and 3D kinematic motion models for wheeled mobile robots (WMR). We also focus on navigation, planning,control and estimation systems for robots. Additionally, we also study the synthesis of spatial mechanisms, kinematic and dynamic analysis, and 3D modelling of robotic systems.
