Overview
Drug Design and Development Centre (DDDC) is a dedicated centre focusing on Research and Development in Pharmaceutical Sciences. The main domain includes Drug Design, Pharmacological Screening, Analytical Method Development, Formulation Development and Stability Studies for Herbal, Intermediates and Synthetic Drugs. DDDC can able to cater to the needs of pharmaceutical industry. We also intend to develop future pharmacists with the required skills and capabilities, support PG, UG and Ph.D Research scholars towards their research activities. The members of DDDC actively contribute to quality research publications, presentations at various National and International seminars, filing of patents etc, thereby actively participating in the centre activities.

- Design and Development of plantain leaf extract/juice/powder for treating burns as first aid
- Development of clotrimazole emulgel for topical application
- Development of Curcumin with silver sulphadiazine gel/paste for wound/burns
- Improvement of aqueous solubility of poorly water soluble drugs
- Developing flexible foams/sponges to arrest bleeding immediately
- ● Development of taste masked paracetamol granules in sachet
